Playa Del Carmen Mexico is one of my favourite destinations, I have always felt safe and have enjoyed all that this area offers. But recent stories in the media about escalating crime with drug cartels in Cancun including shootings in broad day light have me wondering what the future holds for this area. Tourism which is a vital part of the economy could be devastated if crime and corruption are let to run rampant. Music: audionautix.com
