Is Saving Money at Disney World Possible?

Uncategorized Add comments

Saving money when you go to DisneyWorld probably seems to be a contradiction, but with some planning and preparation, visitors can have a great trip to Orlando without running up a huge bill.

The DisneyWorld Resort is absolutely huge, with an area of almost 50 total miles just outside Orlando, Florida. There are four gigantic theme parks, Epcot, MGM, the Animal Kingdom, and the Magic Kingdom. With so many things to see, visitors almost always spend at least 7 days or more just to take it all in. Disney has constructed more than 10 resorts just to house visitors to the parks.

Fortunately, Disney executives recognize that people are looking for different options when visiting the area. Because of this, they have hotels that fit every budget. Hotels are classified into Value, Moderate, and Deluxe classifications. Value is sort of the Walt Disney way of saying cheap, but you won’t be let down, as the Disney Value hotels are clean and comfortable. Moderate hotels are one step up, promising bigger rooms and full service restaurants on site.

Deluxe resorts at Disney World are full service accommodations designed to satisfy and pamper any guest. Some of the hotels such as the Grand Floridian and Yacht Club are along the monorail, so you can simply travel to the Magic Kingdom without using a car or riding a bus. Rooms are much larger, and the Disney environment is of course magical.

What then is the best way to pick a Disney World Resort? Well would you rather use your hard earned cash on presents or pamper your family with the best, after all you are on vacation? Value rooms like the Pop Century Resort can cost anywhere from $65 to $120 a night, while top end Hotel start from $250 and go up from there. As you can see, if you extrapolate that by 5 to 9 days, you would end up spending hundreds more just for a better place.

The option belongs to the visitor, but no matter what you decide, you can be sure Disney World employees will work hard to make sure you and your family have a good time on your trip away from home.
